A couple of screen-print process videos from 2021. As demonstrated in these printing videos, the approach I take to printing work in this series is meticulously planned. From the interaction of colour layers to the consideration of paper stock, my artwork creation choices have been made in this instance to the view of using the printing method as principally as a function. Different projects I’ve undertaken require less of a functional outlook and actually thrive within looser constraints; an approach taken in the ‘Sir Gawain’ series which utilises a more intuitive method.
