Thomas Compton lives in the United Kingdom, where he works as an illustrator and printmaker. His illustration practice is a combination of both digital and analogue methods.
He was shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2019, won the SCRT Art Competition 2020, received an honourable mention by 3x3 Magazine 2021 and was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2022.
He is the Author of ‘The De Chirico Horse’; a semi-fictional narrative based upon a friendship the artist’s great-grandfather had with the artist Giorgio de Chirico.
His Clients include; Penguin Random House, SCRT, Moseley Folk & Arts Festival, English Woodlands Timber, Hook Journal, OnOffice Magazine, The London School of Economics (Clare Market Review) and The Lancet Infectious Diseases.
